Campbell River - The best place to work, play, live, raise a family and retire!

Campbell River is a thriving community with a population of approximately 31,000. Located midway on the east coast of Vancouver Island, we are the main commercial centre for the northern part of the Island.

We have the most scenic coastline on Vancouver Island and our community has an abundance of recreational activities and interests for all ages. We have several amazing hiking, walking and biking trails including our famous paved sea walk that runs along the spectacular shoreline that links into our downtown core. Other outdoor activities include ocean, river and lake fishing, diving, kayaking, golfing, skiing and beautiful ocean and lake beaches to enjoy.

The Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex includes an indoor swimming pool, two ice rinks and is home for our successful Jr. B Hockey team ‘Storm’ which has a huge community fan base that fills up the arena every game night. We also have the Willow Point Sportsplex  a multi-use facility that includes  racquet ball & squash courts, tennis, several sport fields, a skate park, and a splash park.

Campbell River is a community that is very diverse in arts and culture with the Tidemark Theatre that hosts a wide variety of local and international entertainment, art galleries, a historic museum, diverse shopping and a farmers market that runs from late spring to the fall. Community festivals and events are held throughout the year, including the annual international shoreline wood carving contest and loggers’ sports events.

We have so much to offer!  Our community has reasonably priced housing that fit a wide variety of desires and budgets.  Whether you are in the market for a rancher style house, a multi-level family home, view property, rural acreage, patio home, condo, townhouse or exclusive waterfront property - we have something for everyone.
